Overflow books are idea books. In fiction, they fit near the novel-of-ideas category. Non-fiction books are accessible explorations and applications of theory.
All Overflow authors have published at least one specialized academic book before joining us. We use the requirement to avoid spending all our time reading manuscripts, and because it's easier to lie back and enjoy a read when you don't need to wonder whether the author's ideas came from the back of a cereal box.
